Beyond Veronica...band members:

Bonnie Veronica (vocalist, rhythm guitar) left her musical tracks in San Francisco and Hollywood before settling into the Sacramento scene. She had stints in several bands which involved many local legends and has played with members of The Pandoras and The Cramps. Roxy Music and Blondie hail as her major musical influences and she is highly motivated by sixties underground and eighties punk scenes. She prides herself on her artistic integrity which emanates into her alternate passions for photography, painting and pin-up modeling (some of which can be found at HERE).

Kirk Larsen (lead guitar, back-up vocalist) is a true, hip veteran of the Northern California music scene and is well known in many social circles, having played guitar with Little Red Rocket, Cartoon and The Head Pilots and having earned three distinctive Truth Awards for Best Guitarist from Alive and Kicking music news. His intense precision and intricacy keeps his style diacritic and desirable. Kirk offers credit to The Beatles, The Sweet and The Pixies for musical inspiration.

Tim Pratt (bass guitar) is a self-confessed gear-aholic, as his hands are all over it, both on stage and off. His charismatic personality is infectious during performances, where he can usually be found wielding his Jetglo Rickenbacker. His consonant bass lines and effervescent personality greatly compliment the group as a whole. He also works as a mastering engineer at Monsterlab Audio and as a freelance studio engineer.

Kevin Coughlin (drums) Kevin's been playing drums for many years, almost too many to count. His playing experience ranges from country bands in Humboldt County, CA to rock bands and jazz groups in L.A. He Currently plays Drum Workshop drums and most recently tore up the skins with the instrumental surf band Hypnotic IV. His influences include Keith Moon, Art Blakey, Richie Hayward and Stanton Moore.

Mark Badovinac (keyboards/guitar) a Sacramento native, has been playing music for more years than he cares to admit. Prior to Beyond Veronica, he played with several bands at various times, including Grotto, Peace Camp, the Inversions, and Deluxe. He has also recorded four solo CD's of all original songs, producing/engineering and playing all the instruments himself. The showoff!  He has recorded a few demo projects for friends too.  Musically he is very much influenced by the Beatles and their sundry contemporaries, especially the Rolling Stones, the Kinks and the Who, as well as Dylan, of course. (How predictable!)

Update

In 2006 founding members Bonnie Veronica and Kirk Larsen relocated to Portland, Oregon. We have recruited bassist Toby Rapp and drummer Kurt Steinke and expect to be playing shows very soon.
